OoYes at Varna Marathon 2025 – A Steady Hand Behind the Scenes

On May 11, 2025, Varna once again became a beacon of athletic spirit. The 10th anniversary edition of the Varna Marathon gathered more than 2,500 runners from 34 countries. The city’s streets came alive with energy, music, cheers, and a sea of positive emotions. For yet another year, OoYes was proud to serve as the logistical partner of this major event – the silent engine that helps everything run smoothly and securely.

The marathon is more than a sporting event – it’s a test of spirit and endurance, a celebration of determination and personal achievement. That’s why our role extends beyond simply delivering equipment. We provide structure, safety, and functionality that quietly support the rhythm of the event behind the scenes.

This year’s race course showcased Varna’s beautiful seafront and wound through the city center. Runners from Kenya, Morocco, and Bulgaria competed for top honors in the classic 42.195 km distance. The marathon also served as the Bulgarian national championship, where Bernard Too and Chelangat Sang of Kenya took first place overall, while Ismail Senandji and Marinela Nineva triumphed among the Bulgarian participants.

For the first time in the history of Varna Marathon, children with special needs from ParaKids and Karin Dom Foundation joined the event – a powerful statement that sport should be accessible to all. The race-day atmosphere was enriched by live brass bands, bagpipes, and enthusiastic applause from thousands of supporters lining the route.

Our involvement in Varna Marathon 2025 was not just a technical assignment. It was a commitment to excellence, teamwork, and seamless organization. We are proud to have contributed to the success of one of Bulgaria’s most prominent athletic events.
