The Fish and Wine Festival in Burgas – Flavor, Emotion, and Comfort with OoYes
The sea breeze, the aroma of freshly prepared fish, and a glass of fine wine – this is the essence of the Fish and Wine Festival in Burgas, which this year, from September 4 to 8, transforms the city into a vibrant hub of seafood, culture, and music. For five days, the Seaside Garden near Expo Center Flora comes alive with concerts, culinary demonstrations, family entertainment, and wine tastings – all with free entry.
The festival is not just an event – it’s an experience that combines tradition with innovation, culinary secrets with artistic energy. From the concert of BGZ and Karandila Orchestra to the competition for the best fish soup and the grand performance by DesiSlava, every day brings new excitement and flavor.
A colorful program for all senses
The five-day festival features more than 200 performers, live concerts, culinary shows, family activities, and wine tastings:
- On Thursday, local folklore groups open the program, followed by a spectacular evening concert with BGZ and Karandila Orchestra.
- Friday brings dancing, games, and a special performance by Greek artist Sakis Verros.
- On Saturday, the focus shifts to family fun and culinary demonstrations, with the evening reserved for Hot Sand and the iconic Mimi Ivanova.
- Sunday is dedicated to the big culinary contest – the Best Fish Soup Competition, where renowned chefs will reveal their secrets, before closing with concerts by Da Seed and Obraten Efekt.
- The festival concludes on Monday with a true family celebration – interactive games, entertaining shows, the folklore spectacle “Bulgaria in My Soul” by DesiSlava, and a breathtaking fire show.
