OoYes – Proud to Support the “I Believe and Help” Cause in Varna
On April 26, 2025, the city of Varna once again proved that kindness has the power to unite. In front of the Cathedral of the Assumption of the Virgin Mary, the 12th edition of the national charity campaign “I Believe and Help” took place, collecting an impressive 26,000 kg of plastic bottle caps in just a few hours.
The campaign’s mission is to support Bulgarian hospitals with life-saving medical equipment through plastic recycling – an initiative that has inspired thousands of volunteers across the country for over 10 years.
OoYes – A Behind-the-Scenes Partner
OoYes joined the effort by providing two mobile toilets and one field sink, strategically placed to ensure hygiene and convenience for all visitors, participants, and volunteers. Supporting such causes is part of our core mission – to be present where meaningful efforts create real, positive change.
A Movement That Brings People Together
The campaign collected more than just plastic – it brought together people with big hearts. Among the participants was the mayor of Varna, Mr. Blagomir Kotsev, who arrived with his family and personally delivered 401 kg of caps collected by the municipal administration.
The organizers from the “I Believe and Help” Association, led by chairman Vladislav Nikolov, have set an ambitious goal: to raise 1,000,000 BGN by the end of the year to purchase five mobile blood donation units. These units will be donated to regional transfusion centers in Plovdiv, Stara Zagora, Pleven, Sofia, and Burgas.
United for a Cause
Since the campaign’s inception in 2015, more than 340,000 kg of caps have been collected. The proceeds have funded the donation of 25 life-saving medical devices, two neonatal ambulances, and Bulgaria’s first mobile blood donation unit.
