OoYes Donates a New Symbol of the Sea Spirit to Burgas

On the eve of one of the most anticipated spring events – Flora Burgas 2025 – we at OoYes completed a project aimed at creating a special gift for our beloved city.

With our initiative, and with the approval of the Mayor of Burgas, Mr. Dimitar Nikolov, and the Municipality of Burgas, one of the iconic bunkers in the Sea Garden was completely transformed and turned into a work of art.

For the creation of the unique vision, we chose the talented local artist Ivan Yankov – Esteo, who wove the spirit of the seaside city into bright and vivid colors.

In the first days after its unveiling, the newly painted bunker attracted dozens of Burgas residents and visitors. Smiles and photos marked the warm reception of the transformed space, which has come back to life as a vibrant part of the modern Sea Garden.

On the old bunker near the seafront, Nereida appeared - a symbolic figure inspired by the sea and ancient Greek mythology.

 The new mural is dedicated to the bond between Burgas and the sea, and to all those who carry the spirit of the sea in their hearts.

 Nereida embodies protection, strength and tender love for the souls of sailors. According to legend, the Nereids are the 50 daughters of the sea god Nereus and the ocean goddess Doris - beautiful beings who helped sailors and guarded the seaways.

 Today, Nereida, looking toward the sunrise, stands as the eternal guardian of seafarers and their families.

This project is our gesture of gratitude to the citizens of Burgas and all its visitors. Our goal was to create a lasting symbol that would naturally blend into the atmosphere of the seaside promenade, bringing joy, inspiration and a sense of pride to all who pass by.

The bunker was officially unveiled on the eve of Flora Burgas 2025. The beautiful weather on the day of the event added to the festive atmosphere, proving that when business and the local community work together, the results are lasting and truly meaningful.

"It is extremely rewarding to see how warmly the project has been received. For us, it is a way to express our respect and love for Burgas. It motivates us to continue supporting the city, its residents and guests through initiatives that leave a lasting impact," said the OoYes team.
