OoYes at the Gorna Oryahovitsa Sudzhuk Festival with Mobile Equipment
About the Event
From May 31 to June 2, 2024, the 17th festival of Gorna Oryahovitsa sudzhuk took place. This year's event opened at 6:00 PM near the Summer Theater and attracted thousands of visitors. The festival, dedicated to the delicacy with a Protected Geographical Indication in the EU, began with performances by "Junior Band" and the majorette team "Bulgarche," with the official opening done by the mayor of the municipality, Mr. Nikolay Rashkov.
Festival Program
On June 1st, the festivities began with a children's show and continued throughout the day with musical and artistic performances, culinary games, quizzes, craft workshops, and sudzhuk competitions. The program included a concert by folk singer Pepi Hristozova, a visual show "Ice and Fire," and vocal group "Graffiti." The highlight of the festival was a concert by Lyubo Kirov, which started at 9:30 PM on Saturday evening.
