OoYes at "The Big Color Run" 2025
Sunday morning in Sofia started differently. Even before sunrise, a vibrant crowd began to gather in front of the National Palace of Culture (NDK) — families, children, pets, athletes — all dressed in colorful t-shirts, backpacks, caps, and... bags of colored powder. This was the joyful beginning of “The Big Color Run” — one of the most cheerful and large-scale events in the capital this year.
Over 2,000 participants of all ages — including guests from Japan — took part in the event, which turned the heart of Sofia into a festival of movement, sport, and positivity.
Running alongside legends
Bulgarian sports legends Yordan Yovchev, Teresa Marinova, Evgeni Ivanov–Pushkata, Ekaterina Dafovska, and many other ambassadors of the active lifestyle didn’t just attend the event — they ran, cheered, handed out prizes, and most importantly — inspired.
At the starting line stood the national rhythmic gymnastics team, along with their coach Vesela Dimitrova, who joined with an improvised display of athleticism and grace.
Participants could choose from four distances — 3, 6, 9, or 12 km — and were welcomed at the finish line with cheers, smiles, and a cloud of colorful powder, marking a shared celebration of movement and joy.
Children, dogs, and...
Before the big run, the day began with the “Four-Pawed Marathon” — a race for pets and their owners. The winner was a husky named ObiWan, who earned a wave of applause worthy of a true star.
Later, over 100 children joined the kids’ mini-race, filled with games, laughter, and energy. For many, this was their first-ever “competition” — but surely not their last!
OoYes – Behind the Scenes of a Grand Experience
While thousands of runners filled the streets of Sofia with color and smiles, OoYes was there behind the scenes — ensuring safety, comfort, cleanliness, and flawless logistics. Because we believe that behind every successful event lies a solid infrastructure.
Mobile Toilets for Every Need
Dozens of portable toilet cabins were installed on-site, engineered for durability, hygiene, and maximum user comfort.
- Our standard chemical toilets feature self-closing doors, “vacant/occupied” indicators, built-in urinals, anti-slip flooring, and toilet paper holders. They operate completely independently of water and sewage systems — ideal for events, construction, or remote sites.
- For those with mobility challenges, we provided wheelchair-accessible toilet cabins (LIBERTY model) offering over 3 sq.m. of space, 360° wheelchair rotation, sturdy interior grab rails, access ramps, a translucent dome roof, and double toilet paper holders. Accessibility matters — and we make sure everyone is included.
Mobile Handwashing Stations – Hygiene at Every Step
To ensure proper hygiene throughout the event, we set up dual-station mobile sinks, allowing two users to wash simultaneously — reducing wait times and improving efficiency.
Each sink features:
- Foot-operated pumps
- Integrated handles for easy transport
- Liquid soap dispensers
- Paper towel holders
Solid and Crowd-Control Fences – Safety and Flow
To maintain order and clearly define functional zones, we installed two types of fencing systems:
- Solid mobile fences with galvanized frames and 1.5 mm thick corrugated metal panels — powder-coated for weather resistance. These provided reliable barriers between technical and public zones.
- Crowd-control (anti-panic) fences, equipped with self-locking mechanisms for quick assembly, were strategically placed in high-traffic areas like starting gates, finishing lines, and stage fronts to ensure smooth people flow and crowd safety.
With over 6 kilometers of mobile police-grade fencing in our inventory, OoYes is a trusted partner for events with dense public attendance and strict safety requirements.
Mobile Waste Bins – Keeping Sofia Clean
To maintain cleanliness and sustainability, we supplied mobile waste bins with a 250-liter capacity. Each unit came pre-fitted with a liner and was ready for immediate use — a seamless addition to our sanitary infrastructure on-site.
Power Generators – Energy for Every Challenge
We also delivered HIMOINSA power generators (20–80 kW) to ensure reliable electricity for key zones and event logistics — a must-have for large-scale outdoor events, stages, emergency needs, and more.
Optional extras include:
- Fuel tanks (700–1000 L) for extended operation
- Full on-site cabling and installation by request
