Comfort Behind the Scenes: OoYes at Varna’s City Day
On August 15, Bulgaria’s sea capital – Varna – celebrated its most important day: the Feast of the Assumption of the Virgin Mary and the official Day of the City. Every year this date brings together thousands of locals and guests from across the country and abroad. The program, prepared by the Municipality of Varna, was rich and diverse – from a solemn liturgy at the cathedral and official award ceremonies to grand concerts, sports events, and festive activities throughout the city.
The highlight of the celebration took place in the evening on the stage by the Pantheon in the Sea Garden, where thousands gathered for a spectacle that could stand alongside Europe’s biggest open-air festivities. Stars such as DJ BoBo, DARA, Gery-Nikol, VenZy, and DJ Fabrizio Parisi & Timas lit up the stage, accompanied by a laser multimedia show and a fireworks finale that illuminated the sky above the city. The atmosphere was festive, spectacular, and unforgettable – a true peak of the summer cultural calendar.
And while the audience was singing and dancing, the OoYes team worked tirelessly behind the scenes to provide comfort, order, and safety for everyone. Our facilities and expertise played a key role in the flawless organization of one of the most impressive concerts ever held in Varna.
